The Registry

For all of our guests who would like to and are gracious enough to want to give gifts, Yousuke and I would like to first say thank you. 

Since we live half way around the world and already have a pretty complete house, we have very few desires for new processions. After considering this with each other and our families and considering our needs for the future, we have decided to ask that our guests donate to Heather "Maya's" online school fund, which can be found at our online registry (www.myregistry.com) -or- can be given to a member of the wedding party on the day of the event.

For those who do not know, Heather "Maya" will be going to Acupuncture school in Tokyo, Japan next year. This endeavor takes three years and is the culmination of her life long interest in healing, an interest that began with her mom's acupressure book when she was eight years old. School in Japan is VERY, VERY expensive, with first year tuition costs, including supplies, totally around $20,000 US. The following two consecutive years are around $15,000 each! 

After Heather "Maya" graduates she will -in turn- save the amount donated and than pass is on to Yousuke. He will use this money as part of his future cafe/bar start up costs.

We have also selected a few items for those who would prefer to not give one of these two gifts.
